# FlowChainLabs | Choose your first AI workflow.

Find a starting point the business can use, measure, and build on.

For owners and team leaders

## 1. Start with a recurring business outcome.

Choose an outcome people already care about: responding to an inquiry, completing a request, preparing a report. Name the owner of the work.

## 2. Walk one recent example.

Write down where the work started, which systems held the information, who touched it, and what happened next. Use the actual path, including the waiting.

## 3. Record the starting point.

Measure elapsed time, manual steps, mistakes, or missed handoffs. Use records where they exist. Mark anything you do not know as unknown.

## 4. Choose one bounded improvement.

Pick the smallest change that can improve the outcome. Define the information it needs and the decisions a person should keep.

## 5. Check whether it belongs in the workday.

Practice with normal requests, missing information, and an exception. Let the person who does the work decide whether the result is useful.

## 6. Review before expanding.

Compare the new process with the starting point. Use the evidence and team feedback to decide what to improve next.
