Gemini training for teams that work in Google Workspace.
Gemini sits in your team's Gmail, Docs and Meet, and for many people it is still a button they never press. We train each role in the apps it uses, on its own email, documents and meetings, and check usage a month later.

What is Gemini training for Google Workspace?
Gemini training for Google Workspace teaches the people in a company to use Gemini inside the apps they already work in: Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet and Drive, plus the Gemini app. Each role practices on its own email, documents and meetings, then sets Gemini up for the jobs it repeats, with shared Gems and NotebookLM notebooks where they fit. FlowChainLabs runs it as a single workshop or as a program over several weeks, with an AI use policy and a usage check at day 30. Google includes Gemini in its Workspace business plans, and it reported more than 8 million paid Gemini Enterprise seats in February 2026. Many companies already pay for it. Training is what makes it part of the work.

Is Google's free Gemini training enough, or does your team need training on its own work?
Google's free learning path teaches the features well. It does not know your inbox, your documents or your rules. Training on your team's own work turns the features into habits, and the day 30 check shows whether they held.
| Question | Google's free learning path | A one-day public class | Training on your team's work |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | Short activities on each Gemini feature. | A day of features with people from other companies. | Each role trained on its own email, documents and meetings, with a shared Gem for one repeated job. |
| Built around | Google's practice scenarios. | The trainer's practice files. | Your inbox, your Drive and your meetings. |
| Your settings | Not reviewed. | Not reviewed. | Checked with your admin before training. |
| After the session | Each person decides whether to keep going. | Nothing is measured. | Usage checked at day 30. |
| Choose it when | Someone wants the basics on their own time. | One or two people need a general class. | You want Gemini used every day by the people who already have it. |
Why does Gemini sit unused in Gmail and Docs?
Because it arrived inside apps people already know, so nobody stopped to learn it. The button is there. The habit is not.
- People skip the Gemini panel because nobody showed them what to ask.
- Meeting notes still get typed by hand in Meet.
- Staff use another AI tool in a personal account, with company files.
- Admins turned features on, or off, without a plan for who uses what.
- Summaries get trusted without anyone checking the source.
What does Gemini training cover in each app?
Each role works in the apps where its day already happens.
- Gmail: summarize a long thread, draft the reply in your voice and find the attachment you need.
- Docs: draft from your notes, rewrite for a new audience and turn a long document into a one page brief.
- Sheets: build a table, write the formula and ask questions about your data in plain words.
- Meet: let Gemini take the notes, then turn them into decisions, owners and dates.
- Drive and the Gemini app: ask a question across your files and get the answer with the documents it came from.
What do Gems and NotebookLM do for a team?
They turn one-off prompts into shared tools.
- A Gem is Gemini set up with your instructions for one repeated job, shared with the team like a Drive file.
- A NotebookLM notebook answers from the sources you add, such as a handbook or a set of contracts, and shows where each answer came from.
- We build the first of each with the team that will use it, and show them how to keep it current.
What does your team leave Gemini training with?
Habits in the apps your team opens every morning.
- Each person trained in the apps their role uses, on their own work.
- A shared Gem for one job the team repeats, and a NotebookLM notebook where a team works from a fixed set of documents.
- An AI use policy: which accounts, what never goes in and who checks the work.
- A usage check at day 30, with your admin.
What stays with a person when your team uses Gemini?
What gets sent and what gets decided. Gemini drafts, summarizes and finds. Your people check it and own it.
- Replies to customers, read before they are sent.
- Meeting notes that assign work, confirmed by the person who ran the meeting.
- Numbers in a sheet or a brief, checked against the source.
- Anything about pay, hiring or performance.

Questions before
the next step.
How do you use Gemini in Google Workspace?
Use it where the work is. In Gmail, ask for the decisions in a long thread and a draft reply. In Docs, give it your notes and the audience. In Meet, turn on note taking and review the notes after. In the Gemini app, ask a question across your files and open the documents it points to. Check what matters before it goes out.
Is Gemini included in our Google Workspace plan?
Google includes Gemini in its Workspace business plans, and your admin controls who can use which features. Some products, such as Gemini Enterprise, are sold separately. We check what your plan includes before training, so nobody learns a feature they do not have.
What is the difference between Gemini in Workspace and Gemini Enterprise?
Gemini in Workspace works inside Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet and Drive. Gemini Enterprise is a separate Google product for searching and running agents across more of a company's systems. We train on whichever your company has.
Does Google use our Workspace data to train Gemini?
Google says that for Workspace business customers, your content is not used to train its models outside your domain or reviewed by people without your permission. Work done in personal Google accounts follows different terms, so the AI use policy keeps company work in company accounts.
Is Google's free Gemini training enough?
Google offers a free learning path for Workspace with Gemini: eight activities of 30 to 45 minutes each. It teaches the features. This training puts them to work on your team's own email, documents and meetings, and checks usage at day 30.
Can a Gem be shared with the whole team?
Yes. A Gem can be shared like a Drive file, so the team works from one set of instructions instead of everyone writing their own. Your admin controls how far it can be shared.
Is this a Google course or certification?
No. It is training on your team's own work, run by FlowChainLabs. It is not a Google course and does not award a certification.
We also use Copilot or ChatGPT. Can you train on both?
Yes. Many companies run Google Workspace alongside another AI tool. We train on every tool your company approves, and the AI use policy says which one to use for what.
How much does Gemini training cost?
It depends on how many people take part, which roles and which format. You get a clear proposal after a free strategy call, before anything is booked.
How do we get started?
Schedule a strategy call. Tell us which Workspace plan you are on and which teams live in Gmail and Docs all day, and we will show you where to start.
Make Gemini part of the workday.
On a strategy call, we look at your Workspace plan, who uses Gemini today and which jobs take the most hours each week. Then you see the first workshop and the day 30 check.
